Umpires are the heartbeat of our game.

At Bicton Netball Club, we believe umpiring is just as important as playing or coaching. Without umpires, there is no game! Umpires keep the game fair, fun, and safe—and they play a huge role in teaching players respect for the game and each other.

Getting Started

No experience? No problem! Bicton Netball Club supports new umpires with:

• Introductory courses and workshops through Netball WA and Fremantle Netball Association.

• On-court mentoring from experienced umpires to help you feel confident.

• A clear pathway to progress from beginner games through to higher divisions.
