Training

Bicton Netball Club trains at the Fremantle Netball Courts (Gibson Park, Fremantle). Our dedicated training afternoon is Wednesday, with court bookings in place from pre-season onwards. Each coach will confirm their team’s exact training time to best suit player availability and encourage maximum attendance.

Please note that training days cannot be changed, and we expect all coaches, players, and families to make arrangements so players can attend to the best of their ability.

  • Training sessions run weekly during the season, with breaks over school holidays.

  • Sessions are 1 hour in duration.

  • Court allocations will be confirmed prior to the start of the season, and coaches will share details on meeting points, arrival times, and court numbers.

  • In the event of bad weather or court changes, updates will be communicated by the club or directly through coaches.

We ask that all players:

  • Attend and actively participate in training.

  • Show respect to their coach, assistant coaches, and teammates.

  • Uphold the Bicton spirit of teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive attitude.

Our coaches are volunteers who generously give their time and energy to support our players and our club. In return, we expect the same level of commitment from players.

Parents are welcome to stay and watch training sessions, but it’s not required. Coaches will ensure all players are supervised during training and safely leave with their parent or carer afterwards.

Games

All Bicton Netball Club games are held on Saturdays at the Fremantle Netball Courts (Gibson Park, Fremantle).

  • Players should arrive at least 30 minutes before their game to allow time for warm-up, team organisation, and court set-up.
